VAT Information
UKloupes are a UK VAT registered company. All prices shown on our website are inclusive of the current UK VAT of 20%.
Postage and Damages
UKloupes packages all its parcels carefully and securely, parcels of a fragile nature are carefully marked and we make every effort to avoid any damage. In the case of a damaged item please kindly inform us and we will take this up with the courier in question. We may also ask you to send the damaged item back. In certain cases we will process a claim against the courier to seek compensation
Returns, full refunds and the risk-free trial period policy
All products purchased have a risk-free 10 day trial period, the trial period can be extended upon request, the trial period can last a maximum of 1 month and/or as long as the customer deems appropriate to give the product a fair and thorough use within surgery or clinic. Within the trial period (whether it is the standard 10 days or an ‘extended’ trial period the product can be refunded in full). Those wishing to extend the trial period past its 10 days need to request this within the initial 10 day timeframe.
If the customer decides to return the products after the trial period they will pay the return postage cost. Only once the products have been received will we issue the full refund.
Replacements and exchange
All products qualify for a 45 day exchange period; this means that even once the trial period has ended you can still exchange the product for a different specification. The 45 day exchange period will start from the day the first product is received. We will pay the outgoing shipping fee for exchanges products and customers will pay the return shipping fee. All exchanges products must be in good working order. In exceptional cases where the customers no longer wants the product after during or after the 45 day trial period we will issue a credit note which can be used in the ‘UKloupes shop’ on any items.
Warranty
All our products come with a 3 year full warranty. The warranty begins from the invoice date. There is the option to extend the warranty for a small fee, please ask for details. Within this one year products can be returned, replaced and repaired.
The customer needs to send the products back to us, when we receive the products, we will repair or replace and ship back to the customer.
We will pay the shipping fee for the repaired products when we ship to the customers.
Limitations of Warranty:
- Breakage or failure due to tampering, misuse, neglect, accidents, dropping, or modification. If you are unsure about a component always seek advice before investigating
- If the product is not used in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations or instructions or if the product has been purposely misused
- If repaired or serviced by other than UKloupes

- Personalised name badges
- Rx prescription inserts
- Prescription frames
Confidentiality
No debit or credit card details are retained; all postal ad contact information is kept confidential and is not passed on to any third parties.
Dispatch
All orders are dispatched within 1-3 working days. All packages are delivered by Royal Mail (UK only), Parcel Force or UPS for international deliveries. Standard delivery time is 3 working days.
